Genewel Genewel received the commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy on the 56th Invention Day

Genewel received a commendation from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy at the ‘56th Invention Day Ceremony’. Genewel’s achievement in contributing to the localization of medical urethane manufacturing and biomaterial processing technology through the wound dressing material ‘Medifoam and the anti-adhesion agent ‘Guardix’, and recently having developed a new form of pain reduction drug delivery kit ‘Welpass’ was recognized.
In particular, Genewel’s ‘Welpass’ is a new concept medical device that mixes a small amount of local anesthetic with a gel and applies it directly to the surgical incision to relieve pain and release the drug slowly for 72 hours. It is preparing to apply for insurance registration.
